Steam wont link

Every time i try to link my steam it brings up the steam sign in and after it returns me to gve and says steam authentication fail? any fix

also after the server crasher/ loss connection w host do all tents reset to their previous location bc i keep trying to a tent to make my own stash and they keep moving back to their orignal location

That's correct; the server resets very frequently.

My steam also keeps yelling me that steam authentication failed.
